Martin will share insight into the vital work of the Penlee lifeboat crew, offering a glimpse into the realities of lifesaving at sea and the dedication behind one of the UK’s most respected volunteer rescue services. The talk will explore the role of the lifeboat station within the local community and the challenges faced by crews responding to emergencies along the coast.
Tea and coffee will be available, with homemade soup and rolls served from the cafe.

You’ll begin by exploring the tools, learning how to use them safely and effectively, and experimenting with the different marks they can create.
Once confident, you’ll move on to producing your own final piece. You’re welcome to bring along your own ideas for inspiration, or use images provided on the day.
Extra materials and starter kits will be available to purchase if you’d like to continue lino printing at home. Refreshments will also be provided.
