Join local GP and Founder of the Golden Zones Foundation CIC, Dr Helen Angel, for an inspiring Winter Wednesday Talk on how you and your loved ones can live healthier, happier, and longer lives. Drawing on lessons from the world’s Blue Zone communities and the latest longevity science, Dr Angel will share practical insights on well-being, lifestyle, and community.

✨ Try your hand at a variety of seasonal crafts — from making treat-carrying bags and clay witches’ heads to creating your own Halloween decorations.

🍁 Use a variety of natural materials like leaves, seeds, and twigs to make beautiful autumn-inspired pictures.

🖍️ Little ones can enjoy simple colouring and easy crafts, while older children (and adults!) can explore more detailed projects.

☕ Our cafe will be open with Halloween-themed snacks prepared by volunteers.

Get into the festive spirit and create your very own Christmas wreath at Solomon Browne Hall! 🌿🎀 This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of weaving and decorating a beautiful wreath using seasonal greenery, natural foliage, and decorative touches. 🍃🍒

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have crafted wreaths before, this workshop is designed to be fun, friendly, and creative. By the end, you’ll take home a unique wreath ready to hang on your door 🚪✨ or use as a festive centrepiece. 🎄

Our café will also be open, serving festive drinks ☕🍪 and snacks to make the afternoon extra special.

This year marks 10 years of Mowzer on stage in Mousehole! Our magical puppet and live-action production returns once again to the Hall, performed alongside the village’s world-famous Christmas lights.

Based on Antonia Barber’s beloved Cornish legend, The Mousehole Cat tells the heartwarming story of a fearless fisherman and his loyal cat, Mowzer. With music, puppetry, and a big dose of Cornish spirit, this enchanting show is perfect for all ages.

Join print maker Maria Treseder for a creative, hands-on workshop introducing the art of lino printing. This session will guide you through the essential skills needed to get started. You’ll begin by exploring the tools, learning how to use them safely and effectively, and experimenting with the different marks they can create.

Once confident, you’ll move on to producing your own final piece. You’re welcome to bring along your own ideas for inspiration, or use images provided on the day.

Extra materials and starter kits will be available to purchase if you’d like to continue lino printing at home. Refreshments will also be provided.
