We’re delighted to welcome yoga teacher Becky Miller to the Hall for a brand-new weekly class, beginning with a relaxed £5 taster session so you can come along and see if it’s right for you.
This class is designed especially for seniors and anyone looking for a gentle, accessible style of yoga. Becky will guide you through mindful movement, stretching, and breathwork to support mobility, balance, and overall wellbeing. No previous experience needed.
Yoga equipment will be provided, but you are very welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.
After the taster session, the class will continue weekly at £10 per session, with block booking options available.

As many of you know, the Solomon Browne Memorial Hall recently received funding from Penzance Council to restore the Mousehole telephone box in Chapel Street,
As many of you know, the Solomon Browne Memorial Hall recently received funding from Penzance Council to restore the Mousehole telephone box in Chapel Street, transforming it into a mini community library — a lovely new space for the village.
To build some excitement around the project, they’re planning to decorate the telephone box for Christmas, and will need to create 24 decorative panels to go inside.
To make this happen, the hall are hosting a fun, relaxed community craft morning, and they’d love volunteers to drop in and help to create the decorative panels.
Craft Morning
Tuesday 25th November — 10:00am–12:00pm. All materials will be provided — just come along ready to cut, stick, draw and get festive! Everyone is welcome and any help would be appreciated!

Get into the festive spirit and create your very own Christmas wreath at Solomon Browne Hall! 🌿🎀 This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of weaving and decorating a beautiful wreath using seasonal greenery, natural foliage, and decorative touches. 🍃🍒
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have crafted wreaths before, this workshop is designed to be fun, friendly, and creative. By the end, you’ll take home a unique wreath ready to hang on your door 🚪✨ or use as a festive centrepiece. 🎄
Our café will also be open, serving festive drinks ☕🍪 and snacks to make the afternoon extra special.
Tickets are £27 per person, and places are limited, so we recommend booking in advance.

This year marks 10 years of Mowzer on stage in Mousehole! Our magical puppet and live-action production returns once again to the Hall, performed alongside the village’s world-famous Christmas lights.
Based on Antonia Barber’s beloved Cornish legend, The Mousehole Cat tells the heartwarming story of a fearless fisherman and his loyal cat, Mowzer. With music, puppetry, and a big dose of Cornish spirit, this enchanting show is perfect for all ages.

You’ll begin by exploring the tools, learning how to use them safely and effectively, and experimenting with the different marks they can create.
Once confident, you’ll move on to producing your own final piece. You’re welcome to bring along your own ideas for inspiration, or use images provided on the day.
