A Perfect Wedding at Solomon Browne Hall

We were delighted to recently host a beautiful wedding reception here at the Hall, and even more delighted to receive this wonderful review from Fran Pender, the mother of the bride:

“What a perfect venue my daughter and her husband chose to celebrate their wedding, following a local church service. Mousehole is our beautiful home, and to spend time comfortably within the Solomon Browne Hall complimented their vision of a celebration within the village, with family and friends staying in the various holiday accommodations available nearby. The sun shone and we had fabulous photo opportunities on the beach and within the harbour.

By choosing the generous wedding package we had ample access to the hall beforehand to decorate, and easily created an intimate atmosphere by introducing fairy lights, foliage and ribbons in the gorgeous beams and elsewhere.

The space itself was suitable and adaptable, and comfortably offered room for 76 guests, initially for the Wedding Breakfast with the kitchen providing ample equipment for our caterers. The hall then easily converted into a dancing venue, and we chose a traditional disco followed by a silent disco to round off our busy day. Not only a lot of fun, but the silent disco was easier on our more sedate guests, and the hall’s neighbours.

With very many thanks to the kind and generous help from the staff who offered suitable guidance and invaluable direction with the details.

It was such a joy to see the Hall transformed for this special day. From intimate meals to joyful dancing, the space was a perfect fit for this celebration.
