In our next Classic Film Club we will be showing Oscar winning classic film, Casablanca.
Filmed and set during World War II, Casablanca stars Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
A cynical expatriate American cafe owner struggles to decide whether or not to help his former lover and her fugitive husband escape the Nazis in French Morocco.
A film about love and friendship, Casablanca has some of the best dialogue in cinematic history, from “Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.” to “Here’s looking at you kid”.
Join us on Friday, 10 May to enjoy this classic movie in the lovely surroundings of the Solomon Browne Hall.
Doors open at 6:30 and the Film starts at 7pm. Bar will be open, serving snacks, popcorn, ice-cream and drinks.
