Crispian Steele-Perkins – the Legendary Trumpeter with Michael Montavont on Piano

The Legendary trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins, a former member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, performs his favourite trumpet tunes and talks about his remarkable collection of historic instruments, accompanied by pianist Michael Stembridge-Montavont.

From 7.00 p.m. to (approx.) 8.30 on Saturday June 1st in Mousehole’s Solomon Browne Hall, Crispian is sure to inspire, inform and entertain. His speciality has been music of the 17th and 18th centuries and his collection of instruments chart the history of the trumpet.

Over the years he’s also performed as a soloist with many famous orchestras, played for many film scores including Jaws, Lord of the Rings and Batman and recorded for television the music for Dr Who, Inspector Morse and the Antiques Roadshow. He’s also recorded alongside world-class singers such as Bryn Terfel, Kiri te Kanawa and Cliff Richards.

Doors Open at 6pm and the Bar will be open serving drinks and snacks.

Tickets £15 plus £1 ticketing fee in support of the Solomon Browne Hall.
