Talk: regenerative and organic farming at Trenow Fields

Date/Time
30/06/2022
7:45 pm - 9:00 pm

Trenow Fields, a new small coastal farm near Penzance, will be introducing themselves at the Solomon Browne Hall on Thursday 30 June, from 7.45-9pm, and welcoming a discussion about food.

Stewarded for the National Trust, Trenow Fields is growing produce including herbs, vegetables and salad in ways that maximise biodiversity and soil health by focusing on regenerative and organic farming methods.

Some crops are grown between alleys of trees (also known as agroforestry), which provides shelter from the coastal wind and also introduces substantial permanent roots that reduces erosion, sequesters carbon in the ground and provides a more diverse and consistent habitat for wildlife.

Trenow Farm, launched in 2020, is again expanding and launching a “20 mile” organic exclusively Cornish-grown click and collect veg box service from July. Come and join us to get a glimpse behind the scenes and find out about this exciting local farm.
